EcoVadis
Aware that only measured management can be improved, in 2021 Multicuirs undertook its first assessment via the EcoVadis platform, which measures the CSR performance of companies. In the space of three years, Multicuirs first achieved Bronze, then Silver in 2022, before reaching Gold in 2023. This progress has been made possible by concrete actions in the social, environmental, ethical and responsible purchasing fields. Multicuirs is proud of this progress, the fruit of the hard work of its teams.
Swiss Triple Impact
At the instigation of one of its long-standing partners, Multicuirs joined the Swiss Triple Impact (STI) Program at the end of 2021. This program helps companies prioritize their commitments by guiding them in identifying their contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In 2022, Multicuirs was thus able to define the most relevant SDGs for its business and set SMART objectives. In 2023, the company was listed in the STI directory, with three public commitments covering its core business, the environment and ethics:
- By 2026, our entire product range will consist of 95% of leather materials from socially and environmentally certified farms and/or tanners, compared with 77% in 2021.
- By 2028, we reduce our tCO2eq emissions by 25% per unit of sales (Scopes 1, 2 & 3), compared with no reduction in 2019, and by 2024, we commit to the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).
- By 2026, 100% of our main suppliers of manufactured products will meet our sustainable sourcing principles and be Sedex members.
Watch and Jewellery Initiative
In 2023, Multicuirs became part of the Watch and Jewellery Initiative (WJI), a project that brings together several major players in the watch and jewellery industry. This initiative aims to set high standards in sustainability and ethics. By joining this association, Multicuirs adopts a collaborative approach, aiming to align its objectives with those of other players in the sector.
